In accordance with the provisions of Section 549(1) of the Planning and Development Act 2024 (the Act) the OPR must conduct education and training programmes for members and staff of planning authorities, regional assemblies and the Commission. This training is to focus on the role of such authorities, assemblies and the Commission under the Act and matters associated with the proper planning and sustainable development including matters which the OPR considers are relevant to its functions.
